The focus of the network
In order to achieve this aim we have made a commitment to:
• Pool ideas and share good practice thus broadening teacher expertise.
• Provide and share access to top quality training.
• Set up cluster ‘action groups' with specific curricular foci.
• Acquire and share resources efficiently and fairly.
• Provide staff with arrange of opportunities that allow them to be innovative, flexible, creative and confident in their teaching .
This will be achieved through:
• Exploring the full range of assessment for learning strategies (especially Literacy and Numeracy).
• Examining individualised learning styles and strategies – providing shared training and support opportunities to promote these. (E.g. Mind mapping, Brain gym, Emotional literacy)
• Problem solving in Maths.
• Supporting Modern Foreign Language teaching.
• Developing a deeper understanding and application of individual target setting.
• Enhancing learning environments.
